The Boconnoc Steam fair is one of the leading events of its kind in the
Southwest, with some people saying that it’s the best.
With its picturesque setting and many exhibits it’s hard to beat
with it’s relaxed atmosphere.
No wonder why
people are travelling far and wide to visit us.
The Boconnoc Steam Fair 2009 is held on 24th - 26th July, Gates open from 8am daily. During the show there are many exhibits for you to view, these include over 30+ full size steam engines, More miniature steam engines expected this year than last year, a wide selection of classic and vintage cars expected. there will also be vintage tractors and vintage motorbikes. Improved commercial vehicle section this year also not forgetting stationary engines, bicycles, horticultural, crafts & model marquees. There is something for all the family to be found at our 2009 show. There will also be a fully licensed beer tent, fun fair and trade stands on site. For your pleasure there will be a helicopter giving pleasure flights over the show field and surrounding area and demonstrations of heavy haulage by steam in the main ring. While you are at the show take some time out to have a free tractor ride down to the lake and relax there will also be rides pulled by large steam engines as well around the estate.
Don’t forget to purchase a programme when you arrive to ensure you don’t
miss a thing.
Just remember you will need all day to see it all.
Boconnoc Estate is located in the heart of the Cornish countryside.
